Senior year is fast approaching and that means thoughts of how to decorate my locker have been filling my head. After seeing
this pinterest post for a diy glitter mirror, I decided to put my own spin on it.
First, start off by taping off and painting the frame of your mirror in your colors. Next comes the waiting, which admittedly I'm not very good at. Once the paint is dry, cover everywhere you're placing glitter in mod podge. I like the satin finish because it's still shiny but not sticky like gloss finish.
With the mirror over paper, coat the mod podge in your selected colors of glitter and tap the excess off. Then, more waiting. Once the glitter and mod podge is dry, I mixed one part mod podge and one and a half parts glitter in a small plastic container and painted the mixture over the first layer of glitter. The mixture ensures that the whole frame is thoroughly coated while also sealing in all of the glitter so it doesn't come off all over your hands.
Next, more waiting until everything is dry. Finally, add some decorations and school spirit and voila!
I'm so excited to show some love to my future home in my 12th and final year at my school!
