So it's not hard to tell that I do not enjoy running, and I was not a happy camper when I woke up at 5:30 am on tuesday for crew practice when it was really just a land training day. Long story short, I got about half way through our two mile run when I felt some of the worst pain in my hip. A visit to my trainer made it clear that I'd torn part of my psoas, part of your hip flexor that starts at your spine and wraps down to the top of your femur.
Yup, I go running for like the first time in months and I tear a muscle. If that isn't a sign that I shouldn't run, then I don't know what is.
No but in all seriousness y'all, take care of yourselves! Lord knows I'm regretting the time I didn't spend on proper stretching and warm ups!
