Some people love Longchamps or covet Lilly Pulitzer bags, but me? I'm a Vineyard Vines girl through and through, and have been using the same VV tote since 2008 (you can pick your jaws up off the floor now). From beach tote to school bag to daily purse, nothing has been more reliable over the last six years!
Back in '08, my summer camp released a custom collection of vineyard vines totes and ties and I couldn't help myself. My poor little tote has survived four summers at camp, three trips abroad, and two nights left out in a storm, and only now after six years am I realizing that this summer might be the last before it officially has to go into retirement.
The silk top band is fraying at the seams and has faded from a vibrant blue to a dirty and dull grey, and lord knows theres enough sand stuck in the bag that I could build my own beach, but structurally the bag is still as sturdy as it was the day I bought it.
I'm not sure which new tote is on the horizon, but here's to wishing that Vineyard Vines releases a new collegiate collection this fall!
